“Adam Diaz, Phoenix’s first Hispanic City Council member, will be honored Thursday in a special rededication ceremony for the Adam Diaz Senior Center.

The center, previously known as the Westside Senior Center, was recommended for renaming by the Phoenix Heritage Commission in honor of Diaz’s many contributions and long career as a public servant.”
