“In a nod to the kind of ubiquity that scattered Starbucks and McDonalds outlets throughout the land, tiny Pizza Patrón has launched a prototype thats about half the size of its typical carryout restaurant.

The Dallas-based company hopes to open the smaller stores – tagged Pizza Patrón Rapidito – in malls, airports and other high-traffic areas not suited for a large stand-alone restaurant. Customers will be able to eat at or near the new stores.

The Pizza Patrón Rapiditos will be about 550 square feet and cost up to $90,000 to build”
