DIRECTV Adds KPDF-41 Azteca America to the Phoenix Local Broadcast Channel Lineup

WHAT:
DIRECTV, Inc., provider of the nations leading satellite television service, is adding KPDF-41, Azteca America, to the Phoenix local broadcast channel lineup tomorrow. With the launch of Phoenix, DIRECTV will offer Azteca America in 26 markets, representing over 72 percent of U.S. Hispanic TV households. DIRECTV is the only satellite provider to offer KPDF in the Phoenix market.

DIRECTV customers in Phoenix who subscribe to the local channel package can now see a variety of Azteca Americas Spanish-language entertainment programming, including world-wide soccer highlight coverage, Ventaneando with Pati Chapoy, newscasts from Mexico, highly popular novelas and professional Mexican League Soccer matches. TV Azteca, the second-largest producer of Spanish-language programming in the world, will provide KPDF-41 with new music platforms, the best in sports programming, new reality show formats, novelas, news and returning hits.

KPDF is being added to the DIRECTV local channel lineup at no additional charge. For access to the channel, consumers can subscribe to the DIRECTV MASTM Spanish-language programming service with its starting package BASICOTM for $29.99/month, or the English-language packages starting with DIRECTV CHOICETM for $39.99/month.
