But in the United States, where weight problems among Latino children have become a major concern, the Madison couple and other Latino parents have begun focusing on making their meals healthier and getting more exercise with their families.
Working on his fathers farm in rural Puebla and doing construction jobs, Felix Ponce stayed trim with a diet that consisted mainly of the vegetables his family grew and, occasionally, one of the chickens his mother raised to sell.”
