Hispanic restaurateur true to his Jewish faith – La Casa de Isaac in Highland Park, Illinois
Tagged: Chicago, IllinoisPosted on: May 22nd, 2007“Isaac Nava closes his new Mexican restaurant Friday afternoons and all day on Saturday — usually the busiest for the restaurant trade.
“Many people thought we were crazy,” said Nava, who owns La Casa de Isaac, 431 Temple, with his younger brother, Moises.
It may sound unusual for a Mexican restaurant, but Nava explains that he is Jewish by faith.”
