“After growing up speaking Spanish slang in a strongly Latino suburb of Reno, Nev., Erin Gallo knew right away she wanted to study Spanish in school but quickly realized shed need a second skill.
“I love Spanish, but it is not enough to speak it. You have to do something with it,” the University of Iowa graduating senior said.
