“Latino residents of Long Island contribute nearly $1 billion annually to local government coffers, far more than they cost local governments in services such as a schools and hospitals, a new study has found.

The survey, scheduled to be released Wednesday, found that Long Islands Latino population contributed in significant ways to the economy.”
