“Quepasa Corporation NASDAQ:QPSA, owner of Quepasa.com, the worlds largest bicultural, Hispanic Internet community today announced the winners of its first “Faces of Quepasa” model search held in alliance with Ford Models.
Four grand-prize winners and 21 finalists were selected after a three-month search during which more than 30,000 votes were cast by Quepasa members. Showing off winning style and poise, each winner embodies Quepasas cool, sexy, proud attitude. The grand-prize winners will each receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Ford Models Inc. New York City headquarters, where they will meet with one of Fords agents.
Each of the 3,314 entrants posted a personal profile and photos for judging on Quepasa. The 21 finalists were selected by Ford Models. Two of the grand-prize winners, Alejandra Brito of Puebla, Mexico and Enrique Acosta of Sinaloa, Mexico, were selected by the votes of Quepasa members, while two, Clarissa Volker of Lincoln, Nebraska and Ryan Lange of Ballinger, Texas, were selected by Ford Models.
“Ford Models recognizes and celebrates beauty of all kinds,” said Mitch Grossbach, Vice President of Business Development at Ford Models Inc. “Finding new faces is paramount to the agency and were thrilled that our relationship with Quepasa has helped us reach a vast, diverse community.”
For one winner, the surprise was still settling in. “I couldnt believe it when I got the call saying I was a top winner and would be meeting with Ford Models,” said 21-year-old Lange. “I still dont believe it. Its just so amazing.”
