“San Diego State continues to make strides in providing quality education, particularly among minority students.
SDSU placed eighth among nationwide universities that award bachelors degrees to Hispanics, according to the rankings published in this weeks issue of Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education.
The rankings were based on student information from the 2005-06 academic year, when SDSU conferred 1,184 bachelors degrees to Hispanic students, according to the press release. SDSU was also recognized for awarding undergraduate degrees to Hispanics in four specific program areas: protective services, psychology, public administration and social services.”
