California lawmakers re-introduced in Washington a bill titled AgJobs, which reforms guest worker programs, provides temporary “blue card” visas, and creates a path for the legalization of farm workers. While the legislation is slowly gathering support in Congress, President Bush has called the legalization reforms unacceptable. This is a discussion on the prospects for this bill.
