“Some 40-plus protesters on both sides of the immigration debate shouted slogans and slurs at each other this morning at the Civic Center.

At about 11 a.m., a dozen students from Orange High School who had skipped school turned up to support legalization for the estimated 12 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. and to protest workplace raids.

Carrying a banner reading “Stop the Raids” the students stood across from the “Pro-America” rally. The two groups shouted back and forth at each other:”
