Minneapolis restaurant agrees to pay to settle discrimination claim
Tagged: Minneapolis, MinnesotaPosted on: May 1st, 2007“A restaurant in the Uptown area of Minneapolis has agreed to pay 325-thousand dollars to settle a discrimination lawsuit alleging mistreatment of Hispanic employees.
Chino Latino also agreed to hire a Spanish-speaking ombudsman to hear any future concerns. The Hispanic employees had complained that they were harassed by co-workers, received shorter breaks and were disciplined more often for being late than other workers.”
