“About 1,000 people are marching through the streets of Oakland today in a massive May Day rally calling for immigration reform.

A processional left St. Louis Bertrand Parish on 100th Avenue about 9 a.m., then continued down International Boulevard to pick up another crowd gathered at the Fruitvale BART station. The Rev. Antonio Valdivia of St. Louis Bertrand is leading the group, joined by two African-American pastors from area churches.”
