“Citing his experience in public service at the local and federal levels, as well as his work conducting community outreach, Governor Kathleen Sebelius has appointed Steve A. Cisneros to serve as executive director of the Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission.
“All Kansans have a stake in their government and should have a voice here in Topeka . We want to ensure every Kansan has an opportunity to achieve his or her full potential, and Steve will help make that happen. We are delighted to bring a talented native son back to Kansas to work on this important effort.” Sebelius said.”
