Tennessee Hispanic Chamber of Commerce ousts president Ismael “Robert” Chavez

Chavez was suspended in February amid concerns about the group’s status and ability to seek “sponsorships” or donations. In a statement Friday, the chamber said its board had voted unanimously that “it was best to move forward under new leadership.””
