“All day, Ramos and hundreds of residents in communities on both sides of the U.S- struggled to absorb the devastation left by a ferocious tornado that hopscotched through the area Tuesday, killing at least 10 people and injuring more than 160.

Seven of the victims died on the U.S. side, in a rural area south of the city of Eagle Pass. Across the Rio Grande, at least three people died in the towns of Piedras Negras.”
