Knowledge is Power!
“Dra. Isabel Gómez-Bassols and fellow Latina leaders will be will be on hand in sunny South Florida to help kick off CATALINA magazine’s 5th Annual “Essence of Latinas” national tour. The first stop on the national tour will be held on April 25, at Parrot Jungle Island, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hundreds of Latinas will be treated to an afternoon of mingling, networking, and inspiration.
Dra. Isabel Gómez-Bassols – the host of a national self-help radio program and the author of The 7 Steps to Success in Life will join CATALINA – the multi-platform media lifestyle company for “the mind, body, and soul of today’s Latina” – for a day of celebrating South Florida and Latinas. Other VIP guests joining Dra. Isabel Gómez-Bassols include TV personalities Eileen Cardet, Diane Magnum, and Sonia Parissos; South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce CEO Liliam Lopez; and the stars of the South Florida Firefighter Calendar.
During the event luncheon, the stars of the South Florida Firefighter Calendar will take the stage to perform for the Miami charity Here’s Help.
After the luncheon, the Latina leaders will partake in a VIP panel which answers the question: “What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?” The following are a few words of wisdom to be shared by the VIPs:
