Aeromexico to Open Seattle Gateway with Non-Stop Service to Mexico City and Direct Flights to Guadalajara

“Aeromexico, Mexico’s largest airline, today announced it will inaugurate daily non-stop flights July 4 from Seattle to Mexico City and continuing service to Guadalajara, providing the only non-stop service between Seattle and Mexico.

“Aeromexico is excited to further expand our service between the U.S. and Mexico, opening a link from the great Pacific Northwest to the heart of Mexico,” said Carlos De Uriarte, Aeromexico vice president of sales and marketing, USA and Canada. “The flight schedule is ideal to provide great connections through our major hub in Mexico City to the more than 40 business, colonial and beach destinations Aeromexico serves throughout Mexico.

“Our new service will also be very attractive to the substantial Hispanic market in the far Northwest U.S., providing great access for travelers to visit family and friends throughout Mexico,” De Uriarte said.

Aeromexico will utilize the new generation Boeing 737-700 for the flights, which will depart Seattle’s SeaTac International Airport daily at 8:30 a.m., arriving in Mexico City at 3:40 p.m. and then continuing to Guadalajara every day except Saturday, where it will arrive at 6:10 p.m. The return flight will depart Guadalajara at 3:00 p.m. each day except Thursday and stop in Mexico City, leaving the Mexican capital city daily at 6:00 p.m. and arriving back in Seattle at 9:35 p.m. Subject to government approval, the first flight will arrive from Mexico July 3 and the first departure from Seattle will be July 4.
