Televisa profits take unexpected hit

“Mexican conglom Televisa reported an unexpected 45.6% drop in net profit during the first quarter Wednesday as the company booked higher expenses, losses in its venture in Spain and higher payments to minority partners.

First-quarter net income came in at 733.6 million pesos $66.4 million vs. $118.3 million a year earlier.”
