San Jose Art Plaza Needs Quick Cash
Tagged: California, non-profit, San JosePosted on: April 18th, 2007“The San Jose City Council will decide today whether to provide a cash bailout to keep the Mexican Heritage Plaza from going under.
The non-profit Mexican Heritage Corporation that runs the plaza wants to avoid handing operation over to the city, and is asking for $175,000 in aid. CEO Marcela Davison Aviles hopes the quick fix will be enough to keep the plaza running while the group comes up with a new operating model.”
