Knowledge is Power!
“Hispanic College Fund today announced that it has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent evaluator of charities. Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that an organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully managing the finances of its operations in an efficient and effective manner.
“We are proud to announce your organization has earned our 4-star rating for its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances. Less than a quarter of the charities we evaluate have received our highest rating, indicating that the Hispanic College Fund outperforms the majority of nonprofits in America with respect to fiscal responsibility. This “exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates the Hispanic College Fund from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust,” said Trent Stamp, President, Charity Navigator.
“Given the economic challenges many charities have had to face in the last year, achieving a 4-start rating is an exceptional feat,” said Idalia P Fernandez, Vice President and COO, Hispanic College Fund. “Charity Navigator rates charities by evaluating two areas of financial health: organizational efficiency and organizational capacity. Charity navigator’s ratings show our supporters how efficient it believes the Hispanic College Fund will use their support today and the extent to which the charities are growing their programs and services over time.”
Charity Navigator’s ratings are accessible at no charge at www.charitynavigator.org and catalog the financial health of more than 5,200 of America’s best-known charities.
