“The troubled Mexican Heritage Plaza will stay open at least through June.

The San Jose City Council voted unanimously to give the struggling organization $175,000 to keep the non-profit afloat.

“There was a very good likelihood of insufficient funds,” said Kay Winer, deputy city manager. “This is a stopgap measure.”"
