San Antonio makes a push to win back Mexican visitors
Tagged: Mexico, San Antonio, TexasPosted on: April 18th, 2007“San Antonio is done taking Mexico for granted, Mayor Phil Hardberger said Tuesday.
The city is launching a Mexican marketing program to make up ground the city has lost to Houston and Dallas in the last several years, city and county officials said during a news conference.
The ultimate goal is to increase spending here by Mexicans, who already spend $4 billion a year in Texas. As part of the plan, the city hopes to increase the number of direct flights between Mexico and San Antonio.”
