Latin music bucks US sales fall – for now

Research company Nielsen Soundscan, which compiles the official US charts, says that in 2006, album sales fell 4.9% to 588 million units.
By contrast, Latin music sales increased by 5.2% over the same period, notching up 37 million units. “
