For many of the women who gathered at the Hilton Ontario Airport hotel on Friday, theyd like it to conjure up good mothers, strong professionals and involved community members.
“It is up to us to lead through example,” San Bernardino County Supervisor Josie Gonzales told the audience at the ninth annual Latina Conference, urging them to defy the “stigmas” that some Latinas face.”
