Hello Tomas, Not sure if you could publish this or not since this is Last minute. But I thought I would submit it any ways. My name is Mark Gonzalez. I’m am a Stand-Up Comedian from San Diego California. I am writing because I am a finalist in an online stand-up comedy competition sponsored by www.famecast.com.
The competition started in January with one hundred comedians from all over the country and is now down to the top five, of which I am one. Here is a quick PR update I’ve been sending out to fans on my mailing list. The finals for this competition will be held on April 14th in Austin Texas. Famecast is flying me in to perform that evening.

Local Comedian in Top Five of National Comedy Competition.
Building any business from the ground up is no easy task. Especially when the only thing your business is selling is yourself! So when it comes to working hard for something, San Diego Comedy Store regular, Mark Gonzalez, is no stranger to hard work.
In January, Mark entered an online comedy competition at the website www.famecast.com. The competition began with 100 comedians from across the country uploading video clips of their performances and getting people to log in, watch their clip and if they liked it, cast their vote to get them into the next round. Mark has been working at this for the last four months and with his talent and tenacity has managed to get enough votes to get him into the top five of this national competition. But the contest isn’t over yet. He still needs your help! The competition is coming to an end.
On Saturday, April 14th, www.famecast.com is flying Mark to Austin, Texas, where he will compete in a Live web-cast show featuring Mark and 4 other comedians all vying for the title of Famecast Phenom!
The FINALS show will take place Saturday, April 14th @ 8 PM CST and voting will be taking place live, as the performance is web-cast on www.famecast.com as well as the TWO days following the performance.
