Knowledge is Power!
“The Muscogee County Schools PTA is reaching out to Hispanics after a recent wave of home invasions in the Latino community. With the help of an interpreter, school counselors, police and a health care representative explained to Hispanic parents their rights, especially when it comes to their children.
PTA member Erika Spencer says, “The Latino population needs to know schools are open doors. You can come there, you can join, you can be a part of it. You can make a difference.”"
