“Mi Gente, Dukes Latino student association, elected sophomore Arturo Ortega and freshman Alex Villasante to be the groups co-presidents for the upcoming year Tuesday night.
The incoming co-presidents said their main goal will be to increase participation in the organization. Attendance at events this year was high, but Ortega said only about 25 to 30 of about 460 Latino students at Duke turned out for the election.”
