M.D. Anderson launches Hispanic-targeted program – Texas
Tagged: Texas, university of texasPosted on: April 12th, 2007“The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center soon will provide up to 4,000 Houston-area Hispanics with information and guidance on the use of health care resources.
The program, called Project FAROS, will be funded with a grant from the federal governments Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
It will be implemented by the Center for Research on Minority Health in the Department of Health Disparities Research at M.D. Anderson. Project FAROS is part of the first nationwide study developed to explore health care access issues faced by minorities.”
