“The government of Mexico donated 7,650 Mexican textbooks on Monday to schools and agencies in Madera, Parlier, San Joaquin, Visalia, and Porterville. The donation took place at the Smittcamp Alumni House at California State University, Fresno.

“We present these very jewels of our government — what we use to teach our children,” said Selene Barceló, deputy consul of the Consulate of Mexico in Fresno.”
