“District leaders said it needs to revamp the bilingual program so it can better educate Spanish-speaking students, meet state and federal guidelines, and better prepare students for the future.

“If we are talking about a global community, then we need to reflect a global teaching community,” said Juan Rangel, a school board trustee.”
