“Springdale may join Rogers in applying for permission to participate in a program designed to deport illegal immigrants, especially those who have committed a crime.

Police Chief Kathy OKelley asked the city councils Police and Fire Committee on Friday to support an application to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency to participate in the 287g section of the Immigration and Naturalization Act. The participation would allow trained officers to recognize false documents and conduct an immigration inquiry.”
