“At first glance, Noe Bautista Galindo doesnt seem like an ideal customer for any health care business. The Mexican immigrant has no health insurance and speaks almost no English.

Many hospitals and clinics in the Memphis area treat patients like him as charity cases. But at least two clinics, CentroSalud in Hickory Hill and Medicos Para la Familia in Raleigh, serve immigrants like Bautista Galindo through a for-profit model. The clinic managers say theyre making returns while serving the greater good.”
