“D.C. United announced today Radio America WACA 1540 AM has been named the clubs official Spanish-language radio partner for the 2007 season, the eleventh year the popular station will carry United matches. As part of the agreement, all 30 United regular season games will be broadcast live on Radio America and on the United Spanish Radio Network Radio Continental 1390 AM and WLXE 1600 AM in the D.C. area and WYSK 1350 AM in Fredericksburg, VA. Radio America can also be heard over the Internet at radioamerica.net.
“Radio America has been a cherished partner of D.C. United for most of our existence,” said D.C. United Executive Vice President Stephen Zack. “We are exceptionally pleased that they have been able to broaden the reach of the United Spanish Radio Network and increase the number of listeners in the Hispanic market.”"
