“It is not enough these days to place Spanish-language ads on Spanish-language TV to reach the coveted Hispanic market. Advertisers are experimenting with sprinkles of Latino flavor in mainstream, English-language media.

In El Paso, advertisers are going at it in different ways, using images of Hispanic families and peppering ads with words in Spanish.
