New policy for Hispanic scholars – University of Alabama
Tagged: Alabama, studentPosted on: March 29th, 2007“National Hispanic Scholars will now have to meet higher requirements to receive the University’s Hispanic scholar package.
As of 2007, Hispanic scholars are required to have a 32 on their ACT or an equivalent SAT score as well as a 3.7 high school GPA. In 2007, they only had to be declared scholars by the College Board, whose standards were a student identifying his or herself as at least one-quarter Hispanic and have a 3.5 GPA to receive the scholarship.”
