Knowledge is Power!
“Last September, Springs eldest child began kindergarten in a two-way language immersion program at Las Palmas Elementary school in San Clemente. The class of 20 students learns their lessons almost entirely in Spanish, with one hour of English every day.
That same month, Spring signed up for a vocational education course offered by Capistrano Adult and Community Education called “Spanish for the Workplace.” She had taken Spanish classes in high school and college to fulfill course requirements, but admits her grades were less than stellar. This time around, it was Lucianas immersion in Spanish that inspired Spring to tackle Spanish again.”
