“Hispanic Magazine’s recently-released list of the top colleges for Latinos named Swarthmore fifth, placing it behind only Princeton University, Harvard University, Amherst College and Yale University and ahead of MIT, Stanford, other Ivy league schools and a host of other top colleges and universities.

The rankings, which are published annually, are based on “academic performance, graduation rates, selectivity, -to-faculty ratio, as well as cultural programs and organizations that are appealing to Latinos,” according to the magazine article.”
