“Leaders of a national Hispanic advocacy group say they oppose an effort by the city of Rogers to have local police take part in an immigration enforcement program.

Rogers Mayor Steve Womack asked in November that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement service grant approval for local law officers to be trained so that they can question, detain and process suspected illegal aliens encountered in daily police work.”
