“New and expecting Spanish-speaking moms learned some life lessons about motherhood Tuesday at a “Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies” class. The morning class was organized by the Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department and the March of Dimes and was held at the department offices on North Parkway.

The four-hour class, which was taught in Spanish, covered a variety of topics including womens health issues, healthy eating during pregnancy, breast-feeding, and infant health and care.”
