MTV Tr3s’ Introduces JESSE & JOY to US Latino Audience

““Descubre and Download,” MTV Tr3s’ multi-platform destination dedicated to promoting a new generation of Latino artists, will introduce JESSE & JOY, the Mexican born brother-sister duo fascinating young music lovers all over their homeland, to its U.S. Latino audience March 20th through April 18th . The 2006 Premios MTV Latinoamérica Artista Promesa nominees will be given MTV Tr3s’ full multi-screen treatment with high profile placement on multiple platforms including MiTRL, MTVTr3s.com, MTV Tr3s Radio, MTV.com, and MTV Networks URGE digital music service and fans will get several exclusives including:

JESSE & JOY made their debut in December 2005 before an audience of one hundred thousand people in El Zócalo, the main plaza in Mexico City. Following that performance they were signed to Warner Music Mexico and embarked on a series of career boosting performances including being the opening act for the English pop phenomenon James Blunt. JESSE & JOY’s performance surprised not only the singer and songwriter of the worldwide hit single “You’re Beautiful,” but also the music media and the audience that met them for the first time at that show.

JESSE & JOY collaborated with well-known pop producer and hit-maker Kiko Cibrian on their debut single “Espacio Sideral,” which became a top ten national success on the Mexican sales charts. Their most recent release, “Esta es mi vida,” reached Gold Record certification in Mexico for sales of over 50,000 units and continues to top sales charts.
