“Acclaimed author Sandra Cisneros will read from her book “The House on Mango Street” on Thursday evening in the culminating event of the citys Escondido Reads One Book community reading project.
Now in its second year, the project encourages Escondido residents to all read the same book and offers many special events related to the books themes. Escondido Reads One Book began this year on Jan. 16 and will end with Cisneros appearance.”
