Now that shes term-limited out of office, the former Senate minority leader suddenly has a Democratic governors ear.
In an appointment believed to be the first of its type in the nation, Gov. Ted Strickland on Monday named the veteran Cleveland lawmaker as special adviser in charge of closing the achievement gap between black and Latino students and their white peers.”
