His employer, Miami-based Murton Roofing Corp., last year turned to Sed de Saber, or Thirst for Knowledge, a self-study program developed by Retention Education Inc. to help Spanish-speaking employees improve their English skills. First used in the hospitality industry, the program caught the eye of Murtons parent company, Skokie-based Tecta America, a leading commercial roofing contractor.”
