“A UA student was selected by Gov. Janet Napolitano last week to serve as a student regent on the Arizona Board of Regents.

David Martinez III, an education senior, was chosen by the governor because of his background, experience and skills that set him apart from other applicants, said Jeanine LEcuyer, a spokeswoman for Napolitano. “
