Baca, other Hispanic caucus members visit Walter Reed
Posted on: March 19th, 2007“Baca and other members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, which he chairs, visited the Walter Reed hospital individually or in small groups last week as part of an effort by the group, which has endured some in-fighting over the past few months, to begin exerting some political clout.
The hospital has come under scrutiny in the wake of a Washington Post report that revealed roach-infested conditions and shoddy outpatient care at what is supposed to be the Armys premier treatment center for its wounded.”
