PBS series excludes Hispanics (this upsets me)
Tagged: documentary, pbsPosted on: March 15th, 2007“I’m perplexed by PBS, the Public Broadcasting Services stance this month to defend the exclusion of Hispanics from a documentary on World War II. The 14-hour series is planned to run this fall. PBS has no intention to respond to concerns over its excommunication of Hispanic contributions during the war.
Nor is it calling to task its documentary darling, Ken Burns, who is responsible for the mistake. PBS president Paula Kerger and her staff claim the network should not interfere with Burns artistic license.”
