TNS Reports Total Ad Growth in 2006; Hispanic Media Increases, With Pause

“Total advertising expenditures in 2006 increased 4.1 percent to $149.6 billion as compared to 2005, according to data released today by TNS Media Intelligence, with Spanish-language media contributing to those increases, even posting higher percentage gains in media areas.

Spanish-language televisions revenue, for instance, grew 13.9 percent, from $4.28 billion in 2006 compared to $3.76 billion in 2005.”
