“Living well and living longer is the idea behind a Kaiser Permanente program called “Viva Bien.”

It is for Latina women between the ages of 40 and 70 who are overweight and have Type 2 .

Guadalupe Herrera is one of the women in the program. “Ive tried many different types of food,” she said.”
