Network to target Hispanics – Orlando

“If Mr. Rogers were around today, he might also become known as Senor Rogers, as public-television stations known for their educational programs make a move this week into Spanish-language broadcasting.

Starting today, Orlandos WMFE-Channel 24 will join stations in major U.S. cities that are launching a public-television network en espanol.

It will be called V-me, a play on the Spanish “veme,” which means “see me.”
